FAQ for Health Insurance Quotes
Question:
What Is The Difference Between Calendar Year Deductibles And Per Occurrence Deductibles?
Answer: Insurance companies are coming out with plans that have calendar year deductibles, in which the customer is responsible for everything until the deductible is satisfied. Example: You must pay for Dr. Visits, accidents, testing, ER and sometimes-even prescriptions until the pre-determined deductible is met. These plans tend to be less expensive, especially if you choose a deductible such as $3,000, $4,000, or $5,000. Per occurrence deductible plans have several deductibles, usually smaller deductibles for ER, testing and prescriptions.
